Eat, Drink, and be Married!

Eat, Drink, and be Married! was the theme of the evening last night at the Rickenbach Ranch in Koosharem, Utah. Love was in the air as Meghan Kennedy and Lloyd Rickenbach were joined together in sweet matrimony beneath a personally constructed wooden arch. After their new home is built, only a glance away from where the ceremony was held, the arch will be the finishing touch on their entryway. This is not the only ‘trinket’ from the wedding that will be a part of their new home. They also used their kitchen floor as the dance floor on the lawn! Unique memories that will last longer than a lifetime were created as family and friends shared their thoughts on marriage for the bride and groom during the ceremony, and danced a shindig to the live bluegrass band for the entire evening.

Personally, I felt like I was back home in the south again with all the hospitality and friendliness of the folks in Koosharem. Being able to be a part of documenting these special memories for Meghan and Lloyd was truly a rewarding experience for me. I felt like I had known them for years and witnessing their love for one another was a jewel in my memory.

From the 97% non-traditional to the 43% old-fashioned to the 13% crazy, I had a blast as their “photographer extraordinaire” (as Meghan put it) on the Rickenbach Ranch! Congratulations on your commitment together, Meghan and Lloyd. You are a beautiful and inspiring couple!

Wow, how creative. It does pay to have a long engagement. You have more time for all the details. But I don't think I would have given ours even another week. Good pics.

Your photography is incredible. Also, I was surprised to see the town Koosharem in your blog...I have an aunt and uncle that live there. Since the town probably tops out at about 200 people, I was surprised to hear mention of it.
